I Don't know if you remember me or not but I ordered your book and video back in October, did what the book told me to and got a job on Regal Empress. I talked to you on the phone about it a couple of times because I wasn't sure if I should take it or not. Well I did. I left on November 9th and just got back on March 30th. I had a really good time. I got to go all over the Caribbean. Places like the Panama canal, Aruba, Jamaica, Cozumel, Antigua and many others. I made a lot of good friends and even fell in love! Yesterday I got a call from Holland America. I talked to the lady for about 20 minutes. She told me about the position which is pretty much what I was hoping it was, welcoming guests on board and making sure everyone is having a good time, telling people that there is going to be a shuffleboard tournament on deck at noon, etc. She also said that I would get to eat with the guests. Also, if I took the job and didn't like it in the first month that they would fly me home. She told me after talking to me for a while that if I wanted the job and my work reference checked out that I had the job (without even an interview).

To make a long story short, I am set to fly to Honolulu on November the 25th. After that I am going to be in the Caribbean for 4 months. After that if I sign another 6 month contract, I get to choose from the Orient or Europe.

I can't tell you how cool this is...When I started telling everyone that I was going to try to work on a cruise ship as an activities director they all laughed and my parents said, "We don't want you to be dissapointed when you don't get the job." It's great! Everyone has totally changed their tune now that I have the job. All my friends are really jealous and my parents were in shock. They actually didn't think that I could get the job. After I told my parents they got excited and said, "We think this will be a wonderful opportunity for you."

Because I talked to you and followed what you said on the phone and in the book my life is about to take an adventurous turn.

Well Mark, its been a long time sense I wrote to you and ordered my book and video from you. It was about a year ago now I guess. I wanted to write you sooner but I was so busy doing what the book told me to do to get the job. It was a great help.

I was so into it I sent out a lot of resumes I got a call from one of the most known cruise lines. I was interviewed over the phone and offered the job right then, asked how long it would take me to get all my medical done and how soon I could be at the ship. So two weeks later I was on an airplane flying to my new adventure.

I have seen so many different ports and loved the traveling the job has given me the opportunity to do. I have picked up a new love when I was out working as well, I now love scuba diving, something I never thought i would do. My job has given me an opportunity to meet a lot of new friends from all over the world, even meet someone special.
